With a passion for movement and a mission to help others experience the benefits of exercise while building confidence in how they move, Emma’s journey with Pilates began 20 years ago when she attended classes with a friend who was experiencing back pain, and Pilates has been a constant in her life ever since. Having danced throughout her life, Emma recognises the parallels between dance and Pilates. She appreciates the mindfulness of movement in Pilates and its structured, holistic approach, which helps develop greater body awareness, allowing us to work effectively—whether to improve breathing, balance, coordination, strength, mobility, or stamina. This foundation in movement informs her teaching, helping clients cultivate strength, and confidence in how they move.

Emma qualified as a Pilates Matwork instructor in 2019, with additional training in working with pre- and post-natal clients, older adults, and breast cancer rehabilitation. Eager to expand her knowledge and skills, she furthered her mission by qualifying as a Physiotherapist at the end of 2024.

With an inclusive and encouraging teaching style, Emma works with clients of all levels, aiming to empower them to move with confidence. Join Emma for a session and discover how Pilates can help you move, feel, and live better!
