Matwork & Equipment Pilates and Functional Training in Hackney, East London

Victoria Park Pilates provides small group and personal Pilates and Functional Movement training in a newly refurbished studio within the Victoria Park Harriers, Hackney. The running club premises nestle right on the edge of London’s much loved Victoria Park and provides the perfect new home for us!

Formerly known as My Local Pilates, we’ve moved into a newly expanded space which is now purpose equipped for both matwork classes and large studio equipment sessions, to include the Chair, Reformer, Barrel and 8 custom designed Wall Tower units complete with pull up and push through bars and Balanced Body springs.

We also provide both Strength and Suspension training for general conditioning and fitness in an unintimidating environment; especially perfect for beginners, older adults or anyone wishing to improve their bone density, joint strength or range of movement, who wants to learn correct technique using Pilates principles of alignment and precision.

COVID-19 Update: Face-to-Face classes resume at our Victoria Park Harriers venue w/c 21st June 2021, in conjunction with Online/Zoom classes. We operate in a Covid secure environment with social distancing measures for your safety and wellbeing.

Doors and windows are plentiful at this park-side venue and will be left open when possible. The usual capacity of 12 will be reduced to 9 for Mat classes and 6 for Tower classes. Please bring your own mat with you for the time being. You do NOT need to use a mask to exercise in, just for entering and leaving via the external staircase. Hand sanitiser will be available; please kindly use it and refrain from coming if you feel unwell or suspect you have been exposed to Covid-19. Please let us know if you test positive and have recently attended class. There is an NHS Covid-19 QR code to scan if you have a smart phone. We take a register of all attendees for each session.
