We operate a “Term” structure, with 3 main terms each calendar year. Terms have pre-determined start and end dates and broadly follow the academic year. A short skeleton timetable of Summer Holiday Classes then operates through mid July/August.
A new Group Class Timetable is published ahead of each term, for that term. A range of MEMBERSHIPS are listed for sale – again, specific to that term. Clients who wish to join our Group Classes need to purchase a Membership intended for that term, recognising the term has start and end dates. Attend weekly if you like (and we recommend doing so), or more or less often if this suits you better. The more classes you buy, the cheaper your price/class gets! Memberships expire at the end of each term though, so any unused class credits are lost.
Memberships must be purchased online in advance. Time-limited Earlybird discounts are offered on Memberships ahead of time if you’re quick enough!
In addition to our regular timetable of Group Classes, we also offer dedicated short “Courses”. Course dates may differ to term dates, but if you book a course with us, start and end dates will be made clear. Scroll down for more information on courses.
Our upcoming Spring 2026 Term runs w/c 12th Jan – w/e 4th Apr 2026. Bookings NOW OPEN! Choose from one of the following:
A membership with greater or fewer class credits. The more you buy, the lower the price per class. Attend classes when you like, between term start and end dates. Term dates are pre-determined and stated clearly on the Membership when you make a purchase. Unused class credits expire at end of term – no carry over of unused credits to subsequent terms.
Or
(1 class/Week Membership)
Our best value for money option! A single up-front payment covers you for the whole term. Term dates are pre-determined and stated clearly on the Membership when you make a purchase. You’re then awarded one class to use each week at any class of your choice. Failure to attend each week means that week’s class credit is unfortunately lost. i.e. no carry over of unused credits from one week to subsequent weeks (or terms). Our calendar week starts every Monday.
Memberships for group classes cannot be used to register for Courses (Beginner/Back Pain) or Private Sessions
New clients are welcome to try our Group Classes at any time! It doesn’t matter if we’re at the start or towards the end of a term – we’ll try and find you a space if we can.
The below class types are listed on our Group Class Timetable and can be booked with a valid Membership…
PILATES CLASSES:
All Pilates classes are mixed-ability/open-level unless stated otherwise. Complete Beginners may prefer a dedicated Beginner Course to start with but are welcome to join our other classes too. Our methodology leans towards Contemporary/Functional Pilates rather than “Classical”, but we’re not Fitness Pilates either. i.e. our pace is slow to moderate regardless of level. Come and try our classes if you want to know more!
FUNCTIONAL MOVEMENT: Pilates-inspired Mobility Training using one’s own body weight, Towers and a variey of other small equipment. Explore greater ranges of movement and challenge your stability in a dynamic way. Expect lots and standing work and expect your balance to be challenged!
FUNCTIONAL STRENGTH: Resistance-based training for general strengthening. Expect to use our spring-loaded Pilates Towers, resistance bands and both smaller and heavier weights. All welcome! This is a mixed-ability class for adults of all ages and abilities. It’s especially suited to those concerned about age-related loss of muscle/bone mass, which in turn may impact day-to-day functionality and our ability to (for example) easily carry shopping and move and lift household items. Basic Pilates principles will be applied, but this is not a “traditional” Pilates class.
MENO-STRENGTH: A creative strength-based session using small hand/ankle weights and kettlebells. Work on your balance, coordination, reflexes and dexterity. This is our version of a very slow-mo HIIT class with a few twists thrown in besides! Suitable for adults of all ages/genders but particularly suitable for women aged 45+. Please note, this class is run by a Personal Trainer trained in the Pilates method but is not a Pilates class.
*Yoga for Sport* and *Flexible Strength* classes are run externally by Gail Wilkinson and Ellen Leishman respectively. Please book directly with Gail and Ellen if you plan to only attend these classes and not classes run by Victoria Park Pilates (email for details) however, Victoria Park Pilates has agreed and reserved a limited number of spots in these classes for our members. In other words, you may register using valid class credit and we sort out the payment!
We ask that you attend the same class each week for the entire duration of the course. If you can’t attend any of the classes, please unregister in advance from that particular week via your Customer Account, or notify us by email. Clients are welcome to do one “make-up” class per course purchased. i.e. you can attend one of our other classes on our regular timetable instead. Subsequent missed classes cannot be made-up, nor do we provide refunds or carry-over to subsequent courses.
Our Back Pain classes seek to help you manage chronic back and neck pain. Exercises taught will also address common causes of back pain, such as restricted movement in hips and shoulders. Taught by Emma, an experienced Pilates teacher and newly certified Physiotherapist.
Aimed at complete Pilates Beginners, but also perfect for those returning to exercise after a period of absence, or just prefer a slower paced class with detailed instruction on Pilates fundamentals. Exercises will taught on the mat, but will transition to the Tower by the end of the course. Suitable for adults of all ages.
If you plan to attend group classes using your new Membership…
We have some availability for private (1:1 or 2:1) sessions when our studio isn’t used for group classes. This includes exclusive use of the facilities plus one hour of a teachers time. Sessions can be mat or studio-equipment based. Many of our teachers have over a decade of teaching experience, however our newer teachers may not be certified to teach on all equipment – please state when you enquire if you have a preference for Mat or equipment. Studio equipment includes Reformer, Tower (half-cadillac), Wunda Chair and Ladder Barrel.
Requests for 1:1 / 2:1’s must be made via email to info@victoriaparkpilates.com at least one week before your desired session to allow us to check teacher/ studio availability. Once scheduled, payment must be received at least 48 hours before your session starts to confirm your booking. You can purchase Single Session and 5 Session Blocks via our TeamUp booking platform or you may send payment direct via BACS. Greater discounts are available for 10+ Session Blocks – please contact us to discuss your requirements. Please also be aware of our cancellation policy.
ALL New clients MUST complete and return a Health Questionnaire at least 24 hours before attending their first group class, course or private session. This can be filled in and submitted online. The form is secure and confidential.
Cancellations after the deadline are considered late cancels and the session is unfortunately lost.
