Sophie started Pilates over 10 years ago when she was struggling with work related stress. After going to classes regularly she began to feel she could cope better with stressful situations. The exercises taught body awareness and sound breathing practice which made a difference in reducing her anxiety.
Over time, Sophie noticed positive changes in her posture – she was now standing tall and had improved flexibility. Her love of the exercises inspired her to train as a teacher with Body Control Pilates. She believes that everyone can benefit from Pilates and her aim is to pass on what she’s learnt so people can feel better physically and emotionally
