Han Cherry

Han first took up Pilates in 2005, as part of a treatment for lower back pain. At the time, she was working in a sedentary, desk-bound job which was taking it’s toll on her body.

Pilates made an incredible difference. Her back pain eased, her posture improved and sports strength and endurance improved. Han is now a keen Hiker and Triathlete and has competed in numerous 70.3 (Half Ironman) events. Becoming a Pilates instructor seemed an obvious next step. She opted to train with Body Control Pilates, with it’s reputation for introducing and making Pilates accessible to “normal” bodies, rather than trained dancers or boxers.

With more than a decade of Pilates experience and knowledge, Han’s aim is to help transform your body and enable you to achieve your goals, whatever they may be. Above all, she wants you to enjoy learning and practising Pilates, and to find ways of building it into your daily routine.
