Emma Illingworth

Emma started going to Pilates classes over 15 years ago, initially to support a friend who was experiencing back pain. It has remained a constant in her life since. She loves the mindfulness of movement in Pilates and the structured, holistic approach which allows us to develop a greater body awareness. This means that we can respond to what our mind and body need and work accordingly, whether that be to improve our breathing, posture, co-ordination, strength, mobility, or stamina.

Emma is a qualified Pilates Matwork Teacher with a L3 Diploma in Teaching Pilates after completing training with Allison Swan. She’s a member of the Independent Pilates Teacher Association and adheres to their Teacher’s Charter
